Double winners Evans and Lufrano spark UC T&F team to sectional title
The Vikings repeated as South Jersey, Non-Public A Champions
Khamil Evans and Jerika Lufrano each won two individual races to help spark the Union Catholic girls, the No. 1 ranked team in New Jersey, to its fourth straight sectional title at the NJSIAA South Jersey, Non-Public A Championships on Tuesday at Donovan Catholic High School in Toms River.

Evans, a junior, led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 with a winning time of 25.36, and won the 400 in 55.98, just off her NJ #4 time of 55.87.
Lufrano, also a junior, ran 5:09.04 to win the 1,600 and 11:03.68 to capture the 3,200. UC also picked up wins from Leena Morant in the 800 (2:14.04), Amaya Chadwick, who led a 1-2-3 finish for the Vikings in the 100 hurdles with a NJ #3 time of 14.46, Sydney Tucker in the 100 (12.39) and its 4×100 team (48.88). The 4×100 team consisted of Kira Alexander, Tucker, Evans and Felicia Quainoo.
The Vikings will be defend its title at the State Non-Public A Championships on June 1 and 2nd at Franklin High School
