Scott is one of the top jumpers in New Jersey
Union Catholic’s Tyler Scott, one of the top jumpers in Union County, signed to attend the University of Connecticut on Wednesday where she will continue to pursue her track and field career.
Scott, who lives in Elizabeth, won three Union County titles in career (two in the high jump and one in the triple jump), holds the UC school record in the triple jump (39-2 3/4), and is the school’s co-record holder in the high jump at 5-6. Scott also won two state sectional title in the triple jump, and owns personal bests of 17-6 1/2 in the long jump and 15.28 in the 100 hurdles.
