The senior unloaded a 42-0 to place seventh at Howell High School
Senior Ray Lestarchick unloaded a huge personal best on his final throw to finish seventh to highlight action for Union Catholic at the Rebel Shot Put Series on Friday night at Howell High School
Lestarchick launched a 42-0 on his last attempt to shatter his previous personal best of 36-0 that he hit at the Union County J.V. Championships last spring.
The 42-0 by Lestarchick was not only a big PR, but it also places him No. 3 in the Union County shot put rankings after the opening weekend of the season.
Also in the boys Senior Division competition, Jared Ware placed 8th for UC with a throw of 41-6 1/2, and Uchenna Duru also threw 41-61 1/2 for UC to place ninth.
In the girls Senior Division, Rebecca Penevolpe threw 24-9 for Union Catholic to place 18th.
