Pole Vault Frosh Class Record – Conor Reilly
Amaya Chadwick, Conor Reilly, Jerika Lufrano, and Leena Morant all turned in sparkling performances for the Union Catholic track and field team at Saturday’s Molloy Stanner Games at the New Balance Track and Field Center in New York.
Chadwick won the girls 55-meter hurdles in a sizzling 8.04, the top time in New Jersey this season, No. 4 in the nation this winter, and a junior class school record.
Reilly cleared a huge personal best of 12-6 on his first attempt to win the boys freshman pole vault division and smash his own freshman school record. His previous best was 11-0.
Morant shattered the Union Catholic freshman school record by placing fourth in the girls 600 in 1:36.26.Lufrano took down the UC sophomore school record in the 1,000 by placing 15th in 3:08.25.
